The Rise of Atlantis
Academic project · Physical prototype
Overview
The Rise of Atlantis is an academic board game prototype that explores urban development through tabletop play. Players expand across a hexagonal island, establish communities, gather resources and construct shared systems. Terrain and event cards influence their choices. The project brings together a game board, cards, printed rules and physical components.
The board and components
The hexagonal island provides a setting for expansion, resource gathering and the establishment of communities. Separate resource pieces and house-shaped components bring these elements into tabletop play.
